“Sebastian Vaskio is an extremely talented and versatile sound designer – both artistically and technically. We have collaborated on two short films and he is such a pleasure to work with. He is very respectful and honors the artistic vision while also bringing something new to the table. Sebastian is very modest and easy going, ready to repitch and rethink concept when we are not hitting home. I can truly recommend working with him.”

ABOUT ME
I love bringing your sound ideas to life. Usually you’re looking for a specific reaction or emotion from your audience, and it’s my job to find all the ‘sonic ingredients’ to get that out of the speakers. Hearing all the sounds come together, and creating a soundscape that’s greater than its sum is the most rewarding part of being a Sound Designer for me.
Who am I? You could say I was raised by a smorgasbord of sounds. Growing up in a 3-language household in Singapore, then Toronto, and bombarded by the sights, sounds, and smells of these metropolises every day. Now sitting in Copenhagen, I work across all timezones and cultures whether New Zealand, France, UK, or LA.
I’ve been involved with big projects like ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’; and I’ve also worked on smaller indie projects when they’ve come around. No scope is too big or small. At the end of the day, it’s all about people telling stories – and I love meeting people from all walks of life over a drink and hearing theirs.
